Recognize it. Own it.
Live from it.
A structured path from evidence to belief.
A two-level process for building an accurate, evidence-based understanding of your own brilliance, and learning to live from it.
How this process works
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
You already have the evidence: the work you’ve done, the judgment you’ve built, the people who rely on you.
What’s missing isn’t proof. It’s recognition.
This process moves in one direction:
Recognize it. Own it. Live from it.
You can’t live from what hasn’t first been recognized and owned.
Level One builds the evidence.
Level Two turns that evidence into how you actually lead, decide, and show up.
Level One: Discover Your Brilliance
Purpose
To build a complete, evidence-based picture of what’s already true about you, across all three roots.
Why This Matters
Most accomplished women are better at seeing their gaps than their gifts.
Competence is usually easiest to recognize because it has titles and outcomes attached to it. Character and natural gifts are harder; they can disappear into ease, or feel too personal to name.
All three roots are present in you already. What differs is how clearly each has been recognized.
The Work
We explore your brilliance through three roots:
• Gifts & Talents (what comes naturally or distinctively)
• Character (what you consistently demonstrate, not what you aspire to)
• Competence & Skills (what you’ve built and mastered over time)
We use reflection, assessment tools, and external feedback to surface patterns you may not see in yourself.
This is not about branding or positioning.
It’s about truth.
Outcome
A Brilliance Declaration: a clear, evidence-based articulation of your gifts, character, and competence.
An Evidence Journal, already underway.
A foundation solid enough to return to when self-doubt, comparison, or someone else’s no tries to distort what you know about yourself.
Level Two: LIVE YOUR BRILLIANCE
Stage 1: Own It Fully
Purpose
To own what the evidence supports, especially the parts that are harder to accept than the parts that are easy to claim.
Why This Matters
A limiting belief isn’t just a gap in evidence.
It persists because it protects something, because it feels identity-consistent, because the alternative feels threatening, or because the old response has simply been rehearsed thousands of times.
Recognizing evidence and believing it aren’t the same thing.
The Work
Name your own specific limiting beliefs, not generic ones, and test each against the evidence you built in Level One.
Identify the triggers that cause you to revert to old patterns.
Practice a replacement response for each one, grounded in what you know to be true.
Reframe the brilliance you admire in someone else as evidence about what’s true in you, not just about them.
Outcome
A Pattern and Belief Map: your specific beliefs, each paired with the evidence that contradicts it, the trigger that activates it, and a rehearsed response you can actually use.
Stage 2: Act From It
Purpose
To let the fuller, owned understanding of yourself become the foundation for how you live: decisions, leadership, boundaries, risk, contribution, voice.
Why This Matters
Insight that doesn’t change your decisions doesn’t change much.
This is organized around one question: if this is true about me, what does it change?
The Work
- Choose From It. Your Brilliance Declaration becomes a decision-making practice, not just self-knowledge: what do I know to be true, what would I choose if I trusted that evidence, what’s the smallest congruent action available now?
- Practice From It. Real rehearsal, not imagined. You say the sentence, make the request, state the opinion, decline the invitation, have the conversation, then notice what actually happens.
- Return to It. Outcome evidence is not identity evidence. A decision made from real self-knowledge that doesn’t work out isn’t proof the self-knowledge was wrong. This is where old doubt tries hardest to win the argument, and where you learn it doesn’t get to.
- Contribute From It. This belongs to you first. Because it belongs to you, you decide what to do with it. And what becomes possible for others, once you stop withholding it, follows from that choice. It’s not one more demand. It’s what’s available once everything above it is true.
Outcome
Old beliefs may still speak.
The difference is that doubt no longer has automatic authority over the evidence.
You know how to return to the fuller record and choose from there.
How This Works
Start with Level One
Level Two requires completion of Level One: you can’t own what hasn’t first been recognized, and you can’t live from what hasn’t first been owned.
What this asks of you
Show up. Do the work between sessions. Be willing to look at the evidence, including what’s uncomfortable to claim. Notice when you minimize, qualify, compare, or revert to an old story. Practice the new response instead of waiting to feel ready.
