True confession time: after sharing with you in my last post about re-commerce and clothing recycling, I must now go to the other extreme and confess one of my few true addictions (besides dark chocolate and luxury handbags): DESIGNER SUNGLASSES.
I wouldn’t wear a shirt with CHANEL emblazoned on my chest or a belt with DIOR on the buckle – it’s just not my style. But VERSACE sunglasses? Stand back…
It doesn’t make sense, really. Maybe it’s because when I wear them, I can pretend to have some of the mystique that usually eludes me.
So, when I discovered Privé Revaux, I thought my heart might stop. Here’s how they describe themselves: “We’re big on fashion and quality. We set out to disrupt the eyewear industry by combining celebrity design style, high quality, and affordability. It’s everything you’d want in a pair of glasses.”
And that’s been my experience – gorgeous, high-quality designer glasses at $$$ that allow me to build a whole glasses wardrobe (don’t ask and I’m not telling how many. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that sexy Jamie Foxx is the face of the brand.) See the pics above but be sure to look at the glasses and not the dark circles under my eyes!
