In bringing these Brilliance Points to you, I have two goals:

  1. To share with you what I’m learning about how we can show up even more brilliantly in our lives, both inside and outside.
  2. To be as real, authentic, and honest as I possibly can with you about me and my life.

What I’ve been exploring lately is a deeper understanding of how our expectations create our whole world. While this isn’t a new concept to me, David Robson’s new book, The Expectation Effect:  How Your Mindset Can Change Your World, is “blowing my hair back,” causing me to dive more deeply into exactly HOW we can shift our beliefs and expectations.

It’s important, I want to share it with you, but I’M NOT READY YET. I’m still formulating my theories about how to approach these ideas within the concept of being our best selves. (This is me being honest and authentic even though I feel like I failed on this one.) Anyway, stay tuned for more…

In the meantime, here’s a wonderful summary of the book from my favorite author/humorist, Eric Barker:  The Lazy Way To An Awesome Life: 4 Secrets Backed By Research.
